Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions about wael.bot? Find quick answers below.
Getting Started
How long does setup take?
▼
Setting up the platform takes approximately 10 minutes. Once you subscribe, you will receive a Bootstrap Key to connect your MetaTrader 5, cTrader, or MEXC account using our guides.
Do I need a specific broker?
▼
No, wael.bot is compatible with any broker that supports MetaTrader 5 or cTrader. Choose whichever broker fits your trading style and account requirements.
What platforms are supported?
▼
Currently, we support MetaTrader 5 (via the WaelBot Desktop app), cTrader (via cBot), and MEXC (via Spot API). Binance and Bybit spot integrations are currently on our development roadmap.
Can I use my existing TradingView account?
▼
Yes. You can use any TradingView account that supports webhook notifications (you'll need a TradingView plan that supports webhook alerts — the free plan does not) to send alerts to our endpoints.
Pricing & Billing
How does billing work?
▼
We bill on a monthly, 3-month, or yearly recurring cycle depending on the plan you choose. You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us.
Do you accept cryptocurrency payments?
▼
Yes. We support cryptocurrency checkouts (including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT) via our integration with NOWPayments.
Is there a free trial?
▼
No, we do not offer a free trial at this time. However, our monthly plans have no long-term commitment, allowing you to cancel whenever you need.
What is your refund policy?
▼
We offer a 7-day refund window for first-time subscriptions, provided no signals have been executed and the WaelBot app/cBot has not been connected. For more details, see our Refund Policy.
How It Works
Where do signals come from?
▼
Signals are generated by your own custom TradingView strategies or indicator alerts. When an alert triggers, TradingView sends a webhook request to wael.bot, which executes the trade on your connected account.
How fast does the execution run?
▼
Execution is automated — signals are received by our pipeline and routed to your connected terminal or exchange. Real-world latency depends on your broker, network, and the platform you're using.
Can I run multiple accounts?
▼
Yes, you can run multiple terminals. However, the total number of distinct symbols/markets monitored across all terminals is limited by your subscription plan (5 for Basic, 15 for Standard, 50 for Premium).
Does it work while my computer is turned off?
▼
Yes. Crypto execution is API-driven and runs entirely in the cloud. For MT5 and cTrader, execution continues as long as your terminal remains active, which is typically achieved by running the terminal on a Virtual Private Server (VPS).
Risk & Control
Can I override or close trades manually?
▼
Yes, always. You maintain full, direct access to your broker account or exchange. You can close, modify, or add positions manually at any time without interfering with the execution bot.
Is there a stop-loss on every trade?
▼
Yes, provided your TradingView alert payload contains stop-loss parameters. The execution engine enforces stop-losses and take-profits at the moment of order routing.
Can I lose money?
▼
Yes. Systematic trading involves substantial risk of loss. wael.bot is purely a execution utility and does not guarantee profits. You should review our Risk Disclosure details.
Is my API key safe?
▼
Yes. Crypto exchange API keys are encrypted at rest using industry-standard protocols. We never request withdrawal or transfer permissions, meaning your funds remain secure in your exchange account.
